Huw Edwards

My first camera was a Christmas present at the age of fourteen, a Zenith EM. Solid Russian camera with built in light meter. Heavy to carry but fully manual and therefore I quickly had to come to speed on film ISO, aperture and time. At twenty I bought an Olympus 10, the entry level camera to the Olympus range in the early 1980’s. Currently I use a Canon 6D Mark ii, a Go-Pro plus my mobile phone with which I am increasingly experimenting with and enjoying.

I enjoy all aspects of photography, though my favourite at the moment are images of historic locations and trying to interpret them through my photography. In particular the story of the Western Front of WW1.

I hope you enjoy my work, and that of the other members of Aberdare Camera Club.
